Inside the Portal TI unit case, you will find the following sub-assemblies:

Carrier Board – This sub-assembly contains and protects the carrier board. It is located inside the
Portal Case on the right-hand wall.
Wash IO Board – This board and mounting plate is located on the right-hand wall of the Portal TI case
below the Carrier Board sub-assembly.
Power Supply – This sub-assembly provides 5V, 12V and 24V power to the components of the Portal
TI.
Hopper Cage – This sub-assembly houses the main and optional coin hoppers.
Vault Door – This sub-assembly includes the vault door itself, a Medeco lock, the Coin Acceptor and
the Bill Validator. Inside the door, the coin bucket receives coins from the coin acceptor.
Miscellaneous IO Board – This board is located inside the vault on the back wall.

10.1.4 Inside the Portal TI Cash Vault

The cash vault is secured by a Medeco lock, and is wired to the system alarm to provide greater security.
Inside the cash vault you will find the bill stacker, Bill Validator, coin acceptor, coin bin and Miscellaneous
IO board.
