Monitor Your Workflow
You can use the workflow buttons across the top of the
Workflow screen to monitor your slides and
make efficient use of your instruments. There are two categories of buttons:
•
The first four buttons display slides according to protocol category.
•
The second set of four buttons indicates where the slides are in the staining process.
Display Workflow Categories
You may select one or more than one category.
•
To select a category, click the category button.
•
To deselect a category, click the category button again.
To see only slides that you entered
•
Click the
My slides button.
•
Click the
Special stains button.
To see all Special Stains slides currently in staining
•
Click the
Special Stains button, and
•
Click the
Staining button. The first column in the slide list tells you the workflow state.
To see the workflow state of all slides
•
Click the
Special Stains button only.
•
The first column in the slide list tells you the workflow state.
To see which stainer a set of slides is on
•
Add
Instruments to the column headings in the slide list. (See
•
Click the
Special Stains button and click the Staining button.
•
Click the
Instruments column heading. This will sort the column according to stainer.
Set the Column Default Headings
To see only column headings that relate to special stains
1. Open the
View drop down menu and select Special Stains default. Only column headings
relevant to special stains will display in the slide list.
