PROBLEM

POSSIBLE CAUSE

SOLUTION

Unit stops by itself at
some random height.

Programming of PLC incomplete.

Go through setup procedure (steps
12 & 13) again, paying particular
attention to the last step of a
continuous run from top limits to the
bottom after activating Run mode.

Load bar out of level.

Incorrectly set lower limits.

Unit not reaching lower limits.

Internal counter not reset.





Cable kinked or improperly aligned
on winch drum(s).








Motors not 22’ apart.

Go through steps 11 thru 13 again.

Make sure there are no
obstructions, then go through setup
procedure (steps 12 & 13) again,
paying particular attention to the
last step of a continuous run from
top limits to the bottom after
activating Run mode.

Inspect cable and winch drum,
make sure there are no
obstructions. If necessary, move
limits out of the way and pay out
cable until it aligns itself with
grooves in drum. On double mat
systems, make sure fixed end of
cable is at proper attachment hole
in plate on winch.

Verify placement of motors is 22’
apart.

Unit stops short of floor. Programming of PLC incomplete.






Lower limits not set at correct
height.

Go through setup procedure (steps
12 & 13) again, paying particular
attention to the last step of a
continuous run from top limits to the
bottom after activating Run mode.

Go through steps 11 thru 13 again.

Unit stops too low (short
of ceiling).

Programming of PLC incomplete.

Go through setup procedure (steps
12 & 13) again, paying particular
attention to the last step of a
continuous run from top limits to the
bottom after activating Run mode.

Loud continuous clicking
noise from control panel
while unit is being raised
or lowered.

Counter window set incorrectly in
PLC.



Sling loaded off center.

Change MS DELTA setting to 5.

manual).

Verify the loading of the rolled mats
into the sling is even and not off
centered. If only partial mats or load
is being lifted make sure this load is
centered in the sling.
