8 Measuring Lync QoS
Use this module to delete and monitor Lync network performance.
Managing end-to-end tests
An end-to-end test detects the call quality on the path between a source endpoint and a destination
endpoint.
Viewing basic endpoint information
1.
Click the Service tab.
2.
From the navigation tree, select UC Health Manager > Lync QoS > End-to-End Test.
The End-to-End Test page appears.
3.
Click Select next to the Source Endpoint field, select a source endpoint from the endpoint list that
appears, and click OK.
4.
Select a destination endpoint by using the same method.
The Basic Information area appears.
Basic Information contents
•
Endpoint Name—Host name of the endpoint.
•
Endpoint IP—IP address of the endpoint.
•
MAC Address—MAC address of the endpoint.
•
Last Call Time—Time when the most recent call of the endpoint ended.
•
Connection Type—Connection type of the endpoint. Options are Wired, Wireless, and
Ethernet.
•
Operating System—Name of the operating system.
•
CPU Name—CPU name of the endpoint.
•
Number of CPU Cores—Number of CPU cores.
•
CPU Processor Speed (MHz)—CPU processor speed in MHz.
•
Virtual Environment—Virtual environment where the endpoint resides:
