• When you connect only one surround back speaker (SB), place the surround back speaker directly
behind the listening position.
• As the subwoofer (SW) does not emit highly directional signals, you can place it wherever you want.
This manual describes the installation, connection, and setting procedures using the typical
speaker systems indicated in the table below as examples. To learn about all speaker
systems supported by this receiver, see “Selecting the speaker pattern” (page 44).
