previous or next photos. Hold the appropriate
button down to move through the photos quickly.
Note:
You can also display up to nine consecutive “thumbnail”
images at a time using the Multi-photo Playback mode, or
automatically playback your photos in sequence using the
Slide Show feature. See the next sections for details.
LCD monitor auto shut-off feature
Because the LCD monitor consumes additional
power, the monitor automatically turns off if no
camera buttons are pressed for five minutes.
Note:
When your camera is connected to the optional AC adapter,
the LCD monitor auto shut-off feature is disabled.
Displaying multiple photos at once
The Playback menu allows you to switch
between Normal and Multi-photo Playback
modes.
You can display up to nine consecutive thumbnail
images at a time on the LCD monitor. To do so, follow
these steps.
1. Turn the dial switch to Play. A picture is
displayed on the LCD monitor.
2. Press the SEL button. Four menu icons appear on
the top of the LCD monitor.
3. Press the or button until the Playback
Mode menu appears on the screen, then press the
SEL
button. Multi is selected.
4. Press the ESC button to exit the menu.
Small “thumbnail” images of the last nine photos you
took appear on the screen, with the currently selected
image framed in white.
Press the and buttons to move the white
selection frame forward and back through the images
on screen. Hold the appropriate button down to move
through the images quickly.
