Using the Main Menu

Viewing System Information

To view system information:

• From the Advance menu, click

Information.

• The system information window displays

the following:

• Device Type
• Firmware Version
• IE Version
• IP Address
• MAC Address
• DDNS Name
• HDD Capacity
• Video Signal Type
• Net Client Port
• Web Server Port

Configuring The System Menu

The system menu allows you to update
the system firmware, load system
defaults, and enable the "Auto
Maintain" feature.

The Auto Maintain feature reboots the
DVR on a scheduled day and time of
your choosing, to ensure the DVR
performance is optimal.

To enable "Auto Maintain" :

From the Advance menu, click System.

In the Auto Maintain drop-down menu,
select Enable.

In the Auto Reboot drop-down menu,
select the frequency of how often the
system should reboot.

In the frequency drop-down menu, select
from Every Week, Everyday, Every Month.
This will determine how often the system
reboots.

In the Day drop-down menu, select the day
the system should reboot.

In the time field, enter the time the system
should reboot.

Click Apply to save your settings.

To turn the system off:

Click the Reboot button.

At the prompt, click OK to restart the
system.

To reboot the system:

1

Click the Power Off button to halt all
system processes.

Unplug the system to turn it off.
