Parameters
After clicking in the work area to create the ROI, the control panel displays the set of parameters that
enable control customisation.
Please note that the same parameters are available in the STANDARD and EXPERT modes:
• Name : Name assigned to control in Inspection Explorer. Maximum length is 256 characters;
• Status : see "Result" further below;
• Contrast score :
o
Expected : Threshold used for inspection result evaluation. It is compared to calculated ratio:
if this "Expected" value is below the threshold, the result is positive (STATUS indicator and
ROI border turn green); if it is higher, the result is negative (indicator and ROI border turn
red);
o
Calculated : The contrast (percent) of the pixels inside the ROI is graphically displayed;
• Sensitivity : Contrast sensitivity, i.e. the degree of accuracy in measuring the difference between dark
and light levels. Set sensitivity affects processing results: the lower the sensitivity set on the image, the
lower the calculated value.
• Delete : Deletes control from inspection.
Result
Graphically displayed by the Status indicator; shows control result:

: Calculated ROI contrast is lower than set threshold (Expected);
o
: Calculated ROI contrast is higher than set threshold;
