About enabled host resources

The Enabled Hosts content pane displays hosts that you can interact with. See GUI window

Content

pane

.

These are standard storage hosts that also are running the replication manager host agent. See

Enabled and standard hosts

.

NOTE:

VM servers are also included as enabled host resources although they differ from standard

enabled hosts. A host agent is installed on an enabled host providing the mechanism by which
HP P6000 Replication Solutions Manager interacts with the host. A host agent is not installed on
a VM server. HP P6000 Replication Solutions Manager recognizes a VM server but does not
interact with it directly to perform replication tasks. See

VM servers

for more information.
