5.2 Basic construction of the cylinder
LUKAS offers hydraulic cylinders in a wide variety of designs.
Depending on the type, the cylinders are made of different materials such as aluminium al-
loy, steel or stainless steel. The types of cylinder also vary by method of construction. They
are available as normal lifting cylinders, heavy duty, short stroke, locking and flat cylinders.
Depending on the version, they can be used in a wide range of different applications.
