Chapter 2: Prerequisites
Location Requirements
The PuriCare should be located away
from traffic patterns, doors, fans,
ventilation registers, fume hoods and
any other air-handling device that
could disrupt its airflow patterns. All
windows in the room should be closed.
Figure 2-1 shows the optimum
location for the PuriCare.
Exhaust Requirements
THE VERTICAL FLOW STATION
DISCHARGES ITS FILTERED
EXHAUST AIR UNDERNEATH THE
UNIT. IT SHOULD BE PLACED AT
LEAST 12 INCHES AWAY FROM
ANY VERTICAL OBSTRUCTION TO
OPERATE PROPERLY.
