Impellers and Motor/Blower
The Vertical Flow Station uses two air handling
systems to direct air through it. In the top of the station
twin motorized impellers draw room air in through
prefilters and then force the air through the upper
(supply) HEPA filter. Below the worksurface there are
another set of prefilters, a heavy duty motor blower and
the exhaust HEPA filter.
Speed Controls
The speed controls should only be
adjusted by a qualified certifier.
