BURNER DOES NOT LIGHT

Possible Cause

Air in the gas line.

Improper gas inlet pressure.

Gas valve does not open.

Low gas outlet pressure.

BURNER DOES NOT STAY LIT

Possible Cause

Damaged wires between DSI module and electrode.

Faulty DSI module

Damaged Electrode

Try This….

Purge gas lines.

Check gas inlet pressure at the 1/8” NPT plugged tap. Gas inlet
pressure should be as follows:

Natural Gas: 5.0”w.c. min.; 10.5” max.

LP Gas: 11”w.c. min.; 13.0” max.

If gas inlet pressure does not meet inlet pressure requirements
contact the gas company.

Check for 24V across valve terminals.

Check Shutoff On Valve.

IF NO: Check wiring between the ignition module and the valve.
Repair/replace wires as required. If wiring is OK, replace ignition
module. IF YES: Replace gas valve.

Check gas manifold pressure. Measure manifold pressure at the
pressure tap on the gas valve.

Check gas manifold pressure. Measure manifold pressure at the
pressure tap on the gas valve. Natural Gas: 4.0” w.c. LP Gas: 10.0”
w.c. If manifold pressure does not meet requirements, adjust valve
outlet pressure with the adjustment screw on the valve. NOTE:
Proper inlet gas pressure must be verified before performing outlet
pressure testing.

Try this…..

Replace wires as required.

Replace DSI module.

Replace Electrode
