4.

Disconnect the data and power cables from the hard disk drive, noting
their location and orientation. (You will reconnect these cables when
you install the new hard drive.)

5.

Remove the screws that attach the hard disk mounting bracket to the
chassis, and remove the bracket from the chassis (see Figure 31).

6.

Remove the screws that attach the hard drive to the mounting bracket
and remove the hard drive (see Figure 31).

7.

Secure the new hard drive to the mounting bracket using the screws
you removed in Step 6 (see Figure 32).
