Silent and vibrate alert modes
To avoid disturbing others you can si-
lence the incoming ring and alert tones.

To adjust the volume:
Sending DTMF tones
Some remote access services require
DTMF tones. These tones are used by
regular telephones when you dial and
when you answer questions from an
automated voice service. If you are in a
conversation and manually entering the
numbers, no extra configuration is nec-
essary. If, however, you want to send a
number stored in memory, you must set
DTMF to automatic.

To send individual DTMF tones di-
rectly from the keypad during a
