AQUANOL® 900
Reduced VOC Alcohol Replacer
Description: A reduced VOC alcohol replacer for use on sheetfed presses. AQUANOL 900 can
replace alcohol and/or alcohol replacers containing high VOC’s on both conventional
and continuous type dampening systems. This product can reduce or eliminate the
use of alcohol while maintaining high quality standards.
Directions for Use: Mix 1 to 4 ounces/gallon of AQUANOL 900 into the press ready mix. Normal starting
dosage is 2 ounces per gallon. To decrease water setting or reduce lead edge toning,
increase dosage by 1 ounce per gallon. If ink emulsification or roller stripping occurs
decrease dosage by 1 ounce per gallon. For excellent results, use with an RBP AQUA
SERIES fountain concentrate. Contact an RBP technical representative for
recommendations.
