9100A VEHICLE GATE OPERATOR
The 9100A Operator is designed for use on
vehicular entrances in a perimeter security
fence.
FUNCTION:
A remote switch activates a motor which
raises a vertical lock bar and propels the gate
open or closed.
MECHANICAL:
In an electrical emergency, the gate is
manually unlocked and propelled open by use of
a hand crank located in the motor box.
SAFETY:
The 9100 gate operator meets current UL 325
requirements for Class IV (Guarded Applications).
Primary entrapment protection is provided by
constant pressure pushbutton controls with the
audio alarm establishes the secondary safety
device to meet UL 325 safety requirements.
Additionally, the gate operator is UL listed for
Class III.
SECURE:
Sallyport locking system that features a
keyless three-point positive locking capability
making it impossible to open gate except by
electrical operation or emergency
hand-cranking.
SERVICABLE:
Motor assembly is located at ground level pro-
viding easy access for routine inspection of the
motor unit and limit assembley.
DURABLE:
The entire drive and locking assemblies are
encased in a 10 gauge hot-dip galvanized steel
enclosure providing superior protection from
inmate tampering and inclement
weather conditions.
