Installation Instructions
Single gang buttons with integral buzzer and LEDs
This instruction covers the following products:
S1703PR Button with red LED, integral buzzer and engineer changeable label
S1705PR Button with red LED, integral buzzer and fixed CALL label
S1708PR Button with red LED, integral buzzer and fixed RESET label
All are available with Green. Blue or Yellow LEDs. eg. S1703PB These items are supplied with a back box for surface mounting but equally
they can be fitted to standard single gang electrical socket boxes for low profile mounting
NOTE:
The LEDs are current limited for 12 vdc operation. 24vdc version are available to special order eg S1703PY/24
The button contacts are rated at 50ma 24vdc resistive, N.O. press to close They should NOT be used for switch feeds to door strikes or
mag locks etc.. Consider the S1760 version for higher current applications.

The S1703 is supplied un-labelled. The decal (included) has a clear window 10mm x 46mm. The area under the decal is 12mm wide to take
standard labelling machine tape. The window is free from adhesive, nevertheless, it is wise to maintain cleanliness and avoid fingerprints on the
inside of the window. If a labelling machine is not available a paper label can be used and examples are given below complete with cutting and
folding lines. If the text you require is not shown here then it is a fairly simple matter to make one with a word processing or graphics programme.
The dimensions here are given to help you. For a small extra charge the S1703 can be factory labelled to your requirements (subject to a
character limit)

The pushbutton will switch a
maximum of 50ma 24vdc
resistive. It is NOT suitable
for releasing door locks directly.
Before applying decal
fold paper label
and insert through slots
Ensure all surfaces are clean
and free from dust etc..
