1.4 TORQUE REQUIREMENTS
* Torque nut to 169-203 Nm (dry) (125-150 ft lbs), then
add extra torque to line up the slot with the hole in the
shaft to install the cotter pin.
NOTE: When maintenance becomes necessary or a fas-
tener has loosened refer to Figure 1-2., Torque
Chart to determine proper torque value.
1.5 LUBRICATION
Hydraulic Oil
NOTE: Hydraulic oils must have anti-wear qualities at least
to API Service Classification GL-3, and sufficient
chemical stability for mobile hydraulic system ser-
vice. JLG Industries recommends Mobilfluid 424
hydraulic oil, which has an SAE viscosity of 10W-30
and a viscosity index of 152 .
NOTE: When temperatures remain consistently below -7° C
(20° F), JLG recommends the use of Mobil DTE13M
hydraulic oil.
