Tools needed to aim the antenna:
Wrench ( Vs") or Phillips screwdriver
Connecting the Antenna to the Receiver
Connect the antenna to the satellite receiver to fine-tune the aim of
the antenna.
Note
•
This is (I temporary eoiweclioii which allows you to view the receiver's
on-screen tlisplay's. Refer to the Sony Digital Satellite Receiver
operating instructions for complete connection information.

Turn off both the TV and receiver, and unplug the receiver’s
AC cord.

Connect the RG-6 coaxial cable from the satellite antenna to
the SATELLITE IN jack on the back of the receiver.

Connect a cable from the VHP (SAT)AJHF OUT Jack on the
back of the receiver to the UHFA^HF jack on the back of your
TV.

Plug in the receiver’s AC cord, and turn on both the TV and
receiver,

Tune the TV to channel 3 (or 4) to match the setting of the
CH3/CH4 switch on the back of the receiver.

Press MENU on the remote control to display the MAIN
MENU screen.

* If the M AIN M ENU screen does not appear, press TV/DSS to confirm
that the TV is receiving the DSS signal.
Select SETUP MENU.

and elevation will appear at the bottom of the screen. Select

Your azimuth and elevation are also displayed at the bottom
of the SET UP ANTENNA screen. Above the azimuth and
elevation is the Signal Strength Meter you will use to fine-
tune the aim of the antenna.
