SAVING MIDI FILES

If you wish that your Songs to be read by other instruments or by a com-
puter, you have to save them as MIDI File to a MS-DOS or Atari format
(MidiFile format 0).

To save a General MIDI (GM) compatible MIDI File set the General MIDI
parameter to ON (refer to the “MIDI/GENERAL” section of the Owner’s
Manual). The Performance parameters in all tracsk will be converted into
the correspondent MIDI controls (Bank select MSB e LSB, Program
Change, Volume, Pan, Control change 91 and 93 for the Effects).

If the Song contains Lyrics, it will be converted into a Lyric format event
and the generated file will be a MidiFile with text (Karaoke).

All WK1 Or Songs saved as a MidiFile are always compatible with the
GMX format. Consequently they are compatible with all instruments of the
WK series which feature a Disk Drive.

SAVING SONG STYLES

Song Styles can be saved to a Floppy Disk using the “ Save All ” pro-
cedure. In fact this type of file involves different sections of the
instrument.

Song Styles cannot be saved as a Midi File.

The Delete function is used to delete a file from the Floppy Disk.

1. Insert the Floppy Disk in the drive

(remove the protection)

.

2. Press the FLOPPY DISK key and use the PAGE keys to move to

DELETE page.

3. Select the file you wish to delete using the TEMPO/DATA keys.

4. Press ENTER twice.

The file has been deleted and is no longer in the Floppy Disk.
