WARRANTY
Polaris Second Year Engine Service Contract
Second Year Engine Service Contract is standard on all eligible new
and unused model year 2003 Polaris snowmobiles that were Snow
Checked between 3/8/02 and 4/15/02. The free Second Year Engine
Service Contract is honored by all authorized Polaris snowmobile
dealers in North America and is transferable 120 days after the original
purchase date, free of charge, through any Polaris snowmobile dealer.
Coverage on Snow Check units is automatic. Although you do not
receive a warranty card, your dealership should have printed a copy of
the warranty registration form. This form is your proof of warranty.
Consumer Exclusions

Each repair visit after the first twelve months of standard warranty
coverage is subject to a $50 deductible.

The free Second Year Engine Service Contract applies to the first
5,000 miles or two (2) calendar years from date of purchase, which-
ever comes first. Tampering with the odometer shall void all war-
ranties/service contracts. No extensions to coverage under this en-
gine service contract can be given. Used snowmobiles are not
eligible under this program.

Snowmobiles used for commercial purposes or for racing are ex-
cluded from coverage.
Coverage
Coverage for second year engine failures due to defects in materials
and workmanship will be determined by Polaris in its sole discretion.
Coverage is automatic with no additional paperwork required. The free
Second Year Engine Service Contract is subject to a $50 deductible per
visit. Regular, documented service maintenance visits are required to
validate this warranty.
A partial list of items excluded from coverage includes:

Damage due to accident, fire, explosion, theft, or other causes be-
yond Polaris’ control.
S
Damage caused by the failure of other components of the snowmo-
bile.
S
Failures caused by improper fuel or oil.
S
Piston seizures, unless caused by a defective engine component.
S
Failures caused due to improper adjustments, including but not lim-
ited to carburetor jetting and clutching.
