4.11. SHUTTING DOWN THE STOVE

The stove can be shut down at any time and in whatever state it is in.

NEVER SHUT DOWN THE STOVE BY DISCONNECTING

THE ELECTRICAL POWER SUPPLY
Always leave it to complete the shutdown cycle,

otherwise damage could be caused to the structure,

and also problems with lighting in the future.

To shut down the stove, press button on the control panel
for a few seconds, or simultaneously press and on the
remote control

The display (8) will show the message “OFF”. At this moment the

shutdown cycle begins, in which the pellet loading screw stops, while

the smoke extractor and the hot air exchanger remain on until the

temperature of the stove has fallen sufficiently.
The actual shutdown of the stove only occurs 20 - 30 minutes later,

and in any case not before the smoke temperature falls below 50 °C.
This occurs to allow the combustion fumes to be ducted into the flue

pipe by means of the extractor.
It also means that there is total recovery of the heat yielded by

combustion to the structure of the stove.
