RT-10

5-9

Some MP3 tracks appear to be missing from the loaded
disc.

1. The RT-10 recognizes a maximum of 250 folders per disc and

250 tracks per folder. It ignores all folders and tracks that
exceed this number.

Playback does not begin from a bookmarked playback
time on the loaded disc.

1. Playback might have automatically activated from the

beginning of the disc when the disc was loaded. If this occurs,
press the Stop button to activate stop mode. Then, press the
remote control LAST MEMO button to activate playback from
the bookmarked playback time.

2. Make sure a DVD-V, DVD-RW/R or Video CD that does not

include PBC menus is loaded. Last memory playback is not
available for other disc formats. The table on page 4-12
indicates the playback modes available for each disc format.

3. The bookmark might have been deleted. The oldest bookmark

is automatically deleted when the sixth bookmark is created.
Video CD bookmarks are automatically deleted when the disc
drawer is opened or when the RT-10 is powered off. All
bookmarks are automatically deleted when factory-default
settings are restored.

SETUP MENU ISSUES

The Setup Navigator automatically activates when the
Setup Menu is opened.

1. When factory-default settings are restored, the Setup

Navigator prompt (3-4) automatically opens on the on-screen
display whenever the remote control SETUP button is pressed
while stop mode is activated. If this occurs, select the Auto
Start Off setting.

The Setup menu does not include some parameters.

1. Make sure the Setup Menu Mode parameter (3-9 and 3-42) is

set to Expert. When the Setup Menu Mode parameter is set to
Basic, the Setup menu is displayed in basic mode, which only
includes parameters that are required to configure the most
common RT-10 settings.

2. The RT-10 is manufactured for sale in several different countries.

Certain parameters are not available on some versions.

Setup menu parameters cannot be adjusted.

1. Certain parameters cannot be adjusted when some playback

modes are activated. In addition, certain parameters can be
adjusted when playback is activated, although the setting does
not take effect until stop mode is activated.

2. Certain parameters cannot be adjusted when some disc for-

mats are loaded (3-11).
