Button Command
Activates pause mode, which pauses playback of the loaded disc at the current playback time. When
playback is activated, pressing the Pause button activates pause mode at the current playback time. In
some cases, a still frame image appears on the associated display device screen. When pause mode is
activated, pressing the Pause or Play button activates playback at the current playback time. When
resume or stop mode is active, pressing the Pause button performs no function.

Activates random playback (4-17), which plays the loaded disc in a random order of titles, chapters,
groups, or tracks.
19 RANDOM
Activates repeat playback (4-19), which repeats playback of the loaded disc or the currently playing title,
chapter, group, track, folder, or program list. 20 REPEAT
Activates A-B repeat playback (4-21), which repeats playback from a user-defined start time (point A) to
a user-defined end time (point B). 21 A-B
Opens and closes the Video Adjust bar, which can be used to make exact, detailed adjustments of video
settings. Refer to the Video Adjust section that begins on page 3-29 for more information. 22 VIDEO ADJ.
Opens the Audio bar, which can be used to select the desired audio track (audio language and output
format) on the loaded disc (4-7). 23 AUDIO
Opens the Subtitle bar, which can be used to select the desired subtitle language (4-8). 24 SUBTITLE
Opens the Angle bar, which can be used to select the desired camera angle (4-9).
25 ANGLE
Activates display mode (4-30), which opens an on-screen display screen or bar that provides
information about the loaded disc
26 DISPLAY
Creates up to five shortcuts for frequently adjusted Setup menu parameters (3-50).
27 F.MEMO
Activates last memory playback (4-13), which creates a bookmark at the current playback time. Later,
playback can be reactivated from the bookmarked playback time. 28
LAST MEMO
Activates condition memory mode (4-10), which stores preferred disc settings for up to 15 DVD-Vs.
Once stored, these settings will be automatically recalled whenever the disc is loaded.
