Chronicle Communications Settings
The Communications Settings sets the location of the computer running Chronicle Server. This can
be a remote computer on the LAN or the same computer running Chronicle Manager. Edit the Comms
Settings by selecting
Comms Settings from the Communication menu within Chronicle Manager.
When you click on Comms Settings, the window in Figure 10 appears.

This field needs to be set to the computer
DNSname, or Static IP address that
Chronicle server is installed on.
If it is the local computer, then it will
be the computer name or IP of that
computer.
If Chronicle server is running on another
computer on the LAN, then type in the
name or IP of that computer.
Click here to test the connection. If you
see an error, check the server name
& authentication details are correct
and Chronicle server is running in the
services list of the relevant computer.
