NOTE:

If any of the paths are not fully calculated, a pop-up dialog box displays a list of all the

hosts with partially calculated paths. In addition, the current state of the path calculation is

appended to the node name in the left pane.

Multipathing
Multipathing is the process of providing a server more than one path to a storage system, so that in

the case of an emergency, the server will have continuous access to the storage system.

Multipathing can be done many ways. For example, you can provide redundant switches for a

host to access a storage system. Another example of multipathing is providing redundant paths

from the host to the switch. To determine if your multipathing software is supported, refer to the

release notes.
