Do one of the following:
• Choose File > Send To > Soundtrack Pro Multitrack Project.
• Control-click the selection and choose Send To > Soundtrack Pro Multitrack Project
from the shortcut menu.

In the dialog that appears, confirm that the “Save project with latest clip metadata
(recommended)” checkbox is selected. This ensures an accurate change history by having
Final Cut Pro automatically save the project after the sequence is sent to Soundtrack Pro.

Click Save.

Now, the sound editor and picture editor can work in parallel:
• Sound editor: Makes changes to the Soundtrack Pro multitrack project. This project is
called the original project.
• Picture editor: Makes changes to the Final Cut Pro sequence.

In Final Cut Pro, do one of the following:
• Choose File > Send To > Soundtrack Pro Multitrack Project.
• Control-click the selection and choose Send To > Soundtrack Pro Multitrack Project
from the shortcut menu.

In the dialog that appears, confirm that the “Save project with latest clip metadata
(recommended)” checkbox is selected, then enter a new name for the multitrack project
and click Save.

When the new multitrack project opens in Soundtrack Pro, choose File > Conform To
Project.
This initiates the conform process.

In the dialog that appears, select the current Soundtrack Pro audio mix in the list on the
left and the updated project, just sent from Final Cut Pro, in the list on the right, then
click Conform.
