Auto-Erase/Overwrite Option

This option only applies to chips, which are electronically

erasable for example Flash memory, Flash based MCU or GAL

and so on. It causes the DATAMAN-48XP to automatically

erase a non-blank chip prior to programming (there will be no

warning message “Device is not blank, are you going to

program”).

Auto increment (only available to memory device)

This enables the auto increment function that allows a user to

program different serial numbers into the chip without editing

the buffer each time, for setup of auto increment, please refer

to the auto increment start address /end address, increment

value and format section.

Parallel Port Selection

Hotkey F5

This command allows the user to select which parallel port the

DATAMAN-48XP device programmer is connected to. Default

setting is auto search, after executing the DATAMAN-48XP

software, it auto detects which LPT port the DATAMAN-48XP

programmer is connected to, the user can select the LPT port

manually by specifying LPT port to avoid possible conflict

with drivers of another LPT device that is attached to the PC.
