6. Connect cables as necessary to the mid-plane board.
7. Install the fan module. For instructions, see
“Replacing a Fan Module” .
8. Install the bridge board by opening the retention mechanism (see letter “A” in the
figure below), sliding the board through the fan assembly (see letter “B” in the
figure below), and inserting it into the connector on the server board (see letter “C”
in the figure below. Close the retention mechanism to hold the bridge board in
place.
