Loading a sheet of paper
7. Place the printer online. Print a sample page and check the page
margins. Make the following adjustments, as necessary:
• Horizontal alignment. Readjust the paper guides if required.
• Top-of-form setting (see Chapter 5).
• Margin settings. Use your software or the printer setup
mode (see Chapter 5).
LOAD
6. Press the LOAD button. The paper will advance to the top-of-
form position. The top-of-form position is the first line on
which printing can start. To adjust the position of the paper
slightly, simultaneously press the ONLINE button and the LF/
FF button or the TEAR␣ OFF button. The paper will move
forward or backward in 1/180-inch increments.
