6.6 Administrator Settings
Administrator Setting is the mode the administrator of this machine uses. If you select Administrator Setting,
you need to enter the administrator number.

No. Settings Description
1 [ADMINISTRATOR NO.] Change the currently set administrator number to another number.
2 [SLEEP SHIFT] Select whether to enable you to select [OFF] for the sleep mode set-
ting in [MACHINE SETTING] ([ENABLE]) or not ([DISABLE]).

The factory default is [ENABLE].
3 [ACCOUNT TRACK] Configure settings for performing management by account. Up to 50
accounts can be managed.

• Registering the account number
• Changing/deleting the account number
• Displaying/erasing the total counters by account
• Erasing all total counters by account
4 [REMOTE MONITOR] This item appears if the optional Fax Kit FK-510 and Image Control-
ler IC-209, or FAX Kit FK-510 and Network Card NC-504 are in-
stalled.
You can configure remote monitor settings.

5 [NETWORK SETTING] This item appears if Image Controller IC-209 or Network Card
NC-504 is installed.
Configure settings required for connecting to the network.

6 [E-MAIL SETTING 1] This item appears if Image Controller IC-209 or Network Card
NC-504 is installed.
Configure settings required for Scan To E-mail.
For details, refer to the [User's Guide Network Administrator].
7 [E-MAIL SETTING 2] This item appears if Image Controller IC-209 or Network Card
NC-504 is installed.
This item is required when you use POP BEFORE SMTP authentica-
tion.

8 [LDAP SETTING] This item appears if Image Controller IC-209 or Network Card
NC-504 is installed.
Configure settings to search for the destination registered in the
LDAP server.
For details, refer to the [User's Guide Network Administrator].
9 [COMM. SETITNG] This item appears if the optional Fax Kit FK-510 and Image Control-
ler IC-209, or FAX Kit FK-510 and Network Card NC-504 are in-
stalled.
Configure settings for the FAX function.
For details, refer to [User's Guide Fax Operations].
10 [USER SETTING] This item appears if the optional FAX Kit FK-510, Image Controller
IC-209, or Network Card NC-504 is installed.
Configure the NTP server and time zone settings.
For details, refer to [User's Guide Fax Operations].
11 [SCAN TO USB] This item appears if Image Controller IC-209 or Network Card
NC-504 is installed. Select whether to save scanned data in USB
memory.
The factory default is [ENABLE].
