Options

- The Options menu consists of a single item -

Preferences

. Selection of this

item brings up the Preferences dialog box shown in Figure 4-6. This dialog box allows
you to select certain parameters which apply to all diagnostic tests when executed.
The box consists of a

Run

panel and an

On Error

panel.

The Run panel allows you to specify either how many times to run any selected test
from 0 (indefinitely) up to 99,999 times, or how long to run any selected test from 0
hours, 0 minutes (00:00) up to 99 hours, 59 minutes (99:59). Default is run 1 time. To
specify how many times or length of time mode, select the appropriate option on the
left.

The On Error panel allows you to specify what the program should do when a selected
diagnostic test fails. Modes and their descriptions are:

Stop

- Cease executing any more tests at the completion of the test in progress.

This is the default setting.

Continue

- Go on to the next test.

Loop

- Execute the failed test the number of times entered in the box to the right.

The Loop value can be from 0 (indefinitely) to 99,999 times.

When satisfied, select

OK

to accept the parameters and close the Preferences dialog

box.

NOTE: Changes to these parameters are valid only during the current session.
Starting a new session sets the parameters to their default values.
