• Whenever 1 (first derivative) or 2 (second derivative) is specified for this

parameter, you must also use Command 1 to specify the same setting
for post-processing.

DATA TYPE AND DISPLAY SETUP Example

{2,1}

2 = DATA TYPE AND DISPLAY SETUP
1 = CH1 data display

{2,0,1,5,1}

2 = DATA TYPE AND DISPLAY SETUP
0 = Lowest numbered active channel data
1 = REG data
5 = Set time data as REG X data
1 = Set CH1 data as REG Y data

Command 3 - SAMPLE AND TRIGGER SETUP

Command 3 specifies sampling duration, when to start sampling (trigger),
and whether or not to record time data. Executing Command 3 clears any
data currently in data analyzer memory, and puts the data analyzer into the
READY state.

Syntax

{3, Sample Time, Number of Samples, Record Time, Trigger Source, Trig-
ger Threshold, Trigger Edge, Clock Source, Clock Threshold, Clock Edge,
Prestore Data%, Filter}

• Make sure that Command 3 always is the last command sent to the data

analyzer before sampling starts.

• When controlling the data analyzer with a CFX-9850G, be sure to al-

ways insert a display halt command (

^

) following the Send( command.

This tells the CFX-9850G to pause until sampling by the data analyzer is
finished, and ensures smooth data communications. Once sampling is
finished, pressing [EXE] on the data analyzer restarts the program. If the
CFX-9850G is left for more than 60 minutes without performing any key
operation, its Auto Power Off function will activate, turning off CFX-9850G
power.
