TCP/IP Setting

MASK,

GATEWAY

AND

DNS.

Next pages explain several network scenarios. Please identify which scenario your current network falls
within and follow the instructions for configuring and accessing your DVR via TCP/IP.

Case A: Single or Multiple Static IP w/ Personal Router

a.

Under Network Setup, assign a private IP address (ex. 192.168.1.105) on the space provided.

Navigate by pressing [LEFT] or [RIGHT]. To key-in a value, simply press on the numeric buttons. The IP
address you assign must be a unique to your local network, as well as “match” you local network. Also
make sure that the IP address that you assign must be a private IP address. Please note that IP
addresses that take the form of 192.168.1.105 will have to be configured as 192.168.001.105.

For Multiple Static IPs, just use one that you wish to assign to the DVR.

Assign your SUBNET MASK (ex. 255.255.255.0), GATEWAY (ex. 192.168.0.1) and DNS just

as you had assigned your IP address.

c.

Press on [ENTER/SELECT] once you are done to save your settings.

If you are behind a firewall, please ensure that you open port numbers: 3492, 9202, 9205, 9203, 9201 &
3490 in order for you to have remote connection to your DVR.
