Interphase Corporation

If the ACE/Server grants the access, the communication

can continue with the Windows NT authentication
phase.

If the ACE/Server refuses the access, the

communication is immediately broken. When the
connection is untrusted because of the passcode end-of-
delay, the remote client is not especially notified: the
failure is a connection failure. It is the client’s
responsibility to start the connection again.

The RAS support driver can manage secured multilink
connections as well. The SecurID authentication is processed
only for the primary link.

All the SecurID authentication successes or failures are
registered in the Windows NT Event log.
