CHANGING THE POWER SETTINGS

To conserve power, you can set the controller to turn off its display after idling for a
certain length of time.

1. On the Main menu, select Settings, Power Save.
2. Select one of the following options:

• External—The length of time that the display will remain on when powered

by the external DC battery or AC power.

• Battery—The length of time that the display will remain on when powered by

the C-cell batteries inside the controller.

3. Select the appropriate interval—Off (always on), 15 sec, 30 sec, 1 min, 5 min,

15 min.

1.9

SET THE POLLING (UPDATE) INTERVAL

The polling interval specifies how often the Con TROLL PRO checks the probes
and updates the configured outputs. On versions with the logging option, the polling
interval also sets the logging interval. The default logging/polling rate is every 15
minutes. Logging is automatic.

1. On the Main menu, select Settings, Polling Interval.
2. Select the desired interval and select Enter.

Note! Any change to the configuration of the parameters (add probe, delete
probe, enable/disable parameters, change units, etc.) will cause the data log
to be erased and restart.
