3. Launch the SSH utility on a PC that can access the same LAN as the BladeSystem c-Class
enclosure. The following example illustrates using the PuTTY utility.
a. Enter the VSM CLI IP addresses in the Host Name (or IP address) field.
b. Verify that the SSH radio button is selected.
c. Click Open. The SSH shell opens.
4. When prompted, enter an OA username and password with administrative privileges.
After a successful log in, the HP Virtual SAS Manager CLI banner is displayed, with firmware
version information shown in the display. The VSM CLI prompt is displayed and ready for
input.
The following example shows the display after initially accessing the VSM CLI. In this example,
the OA username is “Administrator”.
