Using Mix Point Link

You can use this function to mix to your next track easily by setting the
start and end points on the track for On Air.
This section explains how to mix track A which is On Air on deck 1 with
track B on deck 2 as an example.

1 Press the

[PAGE

]

button or

[PAGE

]

button while holding the

[SHIFT]

button to change the On Jog Display to Waveform mode.

Set a cue point or Hot Cue point where you want to set the mix point on the
track in advance.

2 Load track B onto deck 2 to be played after track A.

On the On Jog Display of deck 2, the upper enlarged waveform is for track
B, and the lower enlarged waveform is for track A.

3 Press the

[CUE/LOOP CALL

]

button or

[CUE/LOOP CALL

]

button, or the Performance Pad set with the Hot Cue point on deck
2 to call up the cue point or Hot Cue point where you want to set the
mix point to start for mixing on track B.

4 Press the

[MIX POINT SELECT

]

button or

[MIX POINT SELECT

]

button on deck 2 to select a mix point to end for mixing on

currently playing track A.

On the On Jog Display, the mix point on track B appears on the upper
enlarged waveform, and the mix point on track A appears on the lower
enlarged waveform.

On the On Jog Display, the Mix Point Link status indicator appears on green
as activated.

In step 4, the operation of the cue point or Hot Cue point is for selecting mix
points, and sound on deck 2 can't be monitored. To monitor the sound on
deck 2, go to step 3.
