Listening to the iPod (continued)
Various iPod functions iPod operation
Below operation can be done depend on iPod generation.
System on operation
When main unit turn to power on (including alarm function), iPod unit
will automatically turn to power on.
* Invalid for iPod 3rd Generation.
System off (standby) operation
When main unit turn to standby mode (including alarm and sleep
function), iPod unit will automatically turn to standby mode.
iPod playback detection function
When iPod unit start playback (including iPod alarm function), below
operation will occur:
During other function is selected, automatically change to iPod
function.
Caution:
During playback (including iPod alarm function) operation on iPod
unit, sound from main unit will be late for 5 seconds maximum.
It is recommended to use alarm function on main unit.
Unplug all iPod accessory before you insert to iPod slot.
iPod playback may become malfunction.
Hint:
When iPod unit is inserted, iPod unit will automatically go to power
off if there is no operation for 8 seconds.
* Invalid for iPod 3rd Generation.
