Troubleshooting

The following is a list of problems that you may encounter with the GPS
2000/2100 unit and suggestions for troubleshooting. Please review the list
before calling Ag Leader Technology if you have a problem with the unit.
If your troubleshooting does not solve the problem, please call Technical
Support at Ag Leader Technology (515-232-5363).

Problem

Cause

Solution

Differential correction fades in
and out or is not present.

A strong
thunderstorm or
other electrical
disturbance is
near or located
between the
antenna and the
differential
source.

The thunderstorm must pass or
decrease in intensity.

You are in a
fringe area for
reception.

Check to see whether there are
thunderstorms in the vicinity or call
Ag Leader to see whether the beacon
near you is operational.

Interference from
your vehicle or
machinery.

Move the antenna to a position where
it is not as strongly affected by the
interference.

The GPS 2000/2100 locks up
and the values on the screen
will not change.

Power surge.

Turn the unit off and turn it back on.

The unit is not
receiving a signal
from the antenna.

Make sure the antenna cable
connections are secure and the cables
are not damaged.

You find yourself in another
menu or there are instructions
on the screen that do not
pertain to your current
operation.

Accidentally pushed
a wrong key.

Press the run key.

Press the enter key.

Turn the unit off and then back on.
