Follow these steps to rout the cable to the cab:
Step
Action
1
Find a place on the right side or bottom of the cab to rout the coaxial
cable into the cab (the point of entry is up to you).
Note: Do not rout the cable through a door or window because this
could crimp the cable and ruin it.
2
Find a site to drill where you will not drill into any cabling or hoses,
then drill a hole with a 1/2-inch bit.
Note: Make sure before you drill that:
•
The coaxial cable will reach to the site you have chosen.
•
That you do not bend the cable at a 90-degree angle.

Action
3
Thread the bulkhead connector through the hole, so that the threaded
end to which you attach the lock washer and jam nut is inside the
cab.
Note: For JD 9000 series combines, a rubber grommet is included
to mount the bulkhead connector through the cab wall plate. Use the
auxiliary hole in the plate or drill a new hole in the plate if the
auxiliary hole is in use.
4
Attach the coaxial cable from the antenna to the outside end of the
connector.
