Where Do Pictures Go When I Save Them?

By default, your photos are saved into the album from which they came. When you edit
and save a photo, you have a choice between saving over the original or keeping the
original and saving a copy of the edited version. If you choose Save A Copy, the copy
will be placed in the same album as the original.

How Do I Get a Photo Back that I Accidently Deleted?

It may be possible to recover an accidently deleted file, depending on how the photo was
deleted. When you delete an album, the photos it contains are not automatically deleted from
the Zip

®

disk. You have to select Delete and Discard Photos to erase the photos. If you were

using the Delete Grid and confirmed that you wanted to delete the photo, the photo has
been permanently removed from the disk.

How Many Pictures Can I Save on a Zip

®

Disk?

The number of photos you can save on Zip

®

disk depends on the size of the Zip disk,

resolution of your pictures, and type of digital camera you are using. Consult the table
below for the estimated number of images you can save for your camera resolution and
Zip disk size.

To get an idea of how much space is available on a particular Zip

disk,

consult the Zip Disk icon in the upper right corner of the Photo Grid. The red
portion indicates how much of the current Zip disk has been filled.

Why Am I Asked to Move my Photos When I Delete an Album, but Not
When I Delete a Slideshow?

Albums work differently than slideshows. Albums are similar to folders or directories on a
computer system. They hold photos. Deleting the album would also delete all the photos
it contains. Slideshows reference images. When you put a photo into a slideshow, the
slideshow references the picture from the album where it is saved. When you delete a
slideshow—or one of the photos in it—the slideshow quits referencing the photo from its
original location.
