Trimming files

Notes
• The trimming function is only available for files
recorded with this recorder.
• Trimmed data cannot be recovered.
Please verify the data before trimming.
• Trimming does not change the file creation date
or the time it was last modified.
• When trimming a movie file, the selected start
position and end position may be offset by up
to approximately 1 second.
• Locked and read-only files cannot be trimmed.
• The process may take some time.
Verify the battery level and avoid to run out of
battery during the process by connecting the
AC adapter beforehand.
While processing, doing the following may
cause data damage:
1 Disconnecting the AC Adapter.
2 Removing the battery.
3 Removing the SD card.
• To trim a voice file, the available space in the SD
card needs to be equivalent or greater than the
size of the file to be trimmed.
