VIDEO protocols other than “SANYO DVR/MU”

In this case it is possible to connect only DVR's or only MUX's to the VIDEO line, depending on the
selected VIDEO protocol.

A possible configuration:

1. Specific control area for selected DVR or MUX
2. Video control area

To select the active DVR or MUX
(undifferentiated key)

To select the active camera

WARNING
It is only possible to load DVR's/MUX's with previously accepted values (see § 4.2.4.2.3 - DVR or
Multiplexer (direct connection with DVR or MUX), page 32 and § 4.2.4.1.4 - Single cameras
connected to DVR or MUX, page 30).

DVR or MUX controlled by a video device (matrix)

It is possible to connect a matrix to the Video connector of the keyboard, and a maximum of 16 DVR's/MUX's
in cascade to the matrix.
The first illustration refers to matrix control (see § 5.1.1.1 - Matrix connected to the video connector, page
51
), the second illustration refers to control of a DVR/MUX (see § 5.1.1.2 - DVR or MUX connected to video
connector, page 52
).

WARNING

This type of connection only works correctly if the matrix is able to manage the communication
protocols used by the DVR's/MUX's connected to it. Check in the matrix user's handbook.

For accepted values of DVR's, MUX's and cameras, refer to the sections about external
DVR/MUX and cameras (see § 4.2.4.3 - External DVR/MUX cameras, page 33 and § 4.2.4.4 -
External DVR/MUX, page 34).
