5.4.3.1
Settings for the DVR/MUX communication parameters
In the DVR/MUX menus, make the settings for the following parameters:
DVR
“System information” menu: assign an address (Unit ID) between 1 and 100 to the
device;
RS232/RS485” menu: set RS485 with a baud rate between 300 and 38400, None, 8, 2,
“remote control”.
MUX
Menu for multiplexer communications:
Type: RS485, Baudrate: 1200-9600, Port: ON, Protocol: A
5.4.3.2
Dedicated functions
In addition to the normal procedure for selecting the input videos, the DVR/MUX are provided with numerous
other functions that can be loaded using the graphics keys (similar to those present on the local keypad of the
video unit) present in the Main menu of the keyboard.
