Another way to build a song is to first enter dummy rhythm

patterns for the required number of measures, and then add

rhythm pattern information only at the measures where the

pattern should change. This quickly gives you a series of

rhythm patterns.

2-2 Entering chord information

When you have finished entering rhythm pattern information,

you can specify chord information (root and chord type). The

bass sound phrase will change according to this information.

For example, you may have a rhythm pattern with a phrase

that normally plays in E minor. By specifying G major as a

chord for that rhythm pattern, the bass line changes to major

scale and is transposed from E to G.

Chord information can be entered by measure, quarter note

or sixteenth note. You can also change the chord/root during

a rhythm pattern.
