General Information

When you see this symbol, the subsequent instructions and
warnings are serious - follow without exception. Your life and
the lives of others depend on it!

These instructions explain how to install the Manifold
Air Release. This kit is used to maintain material flow
through an air system. There are three options avail-
able when installing the Manifold Air Release kit. As
there is no difference in performance, please choose
the option which will allow you to work with the tools
available to you.

Before You Start

Page 3 is a detailed listing of parts included in the Man-
ifold Air Release package. Use this list to inventory parts
received.

Put two 10-16 x 1/2" screws through the holes. Ap-
ply a bead of silicone along the outside edge.

Place screen and cover over rectangle lining up
screws and drilled holes. Tighten screws securing
cover and screen in place. Apply a bead of silicone
around outside edge of cover.

7.

Repeat steps to complete process on opposite
side of air box.

Assembly Instructions

NOTE: Please choose one of the following options.

For Option 1 use a Pneumatic Hot Saw or Torch
to cut rectangle.

Refer to Figure 1

1.

Cut a 3" x 1 1/4" rectangle on both sides of neck
of air box.

Important! After drilling rectangle be sure to re-
move cutouts from inside of air box.

Flatten screen by tapping with mallet.

3.

With cover over rectangle, align top of cover with
top crease of neck of air box. Use cover as a
guide, and with a center punch mark holes to bolt
on cover. Using a 9/64" drill bit, drill through the
marked holes.

4.

Place screen over rectangle. Align screen with
top crease of neck of air box. Using the drilled
holes as a guide, tap through screen with a cen-
ter punch so screws will fit through screen.

5.

Place cover on top of screen aligning the holes.
