Using the DT220

Scan ID’s

The display lists the ID keys in alphabetical order along with some additional field

values. Press the

Cont. key to move down the ID list.

Display ID

The display prompts “Enter Nnnn ID:” where Nnnn is the data table name. Enter an ID

number then press the

Enter key. The DT220 displays the ID’s data. Use the Cont. and

Review keys or the numeric keypad to move the pointer up or down to display all the

fields of the ID record that may not appear due to the 8 line display capacity.

Edit ID

The display prompts “Enter Nnnn ID:” where Nnnn is the data table name. Enter an ID

number then press the

Enter key. The edit menu lists the record’s field names on the left

side of the screen and the field values on right side of the screen. Use the

Cont. and

Review keys or the numeric keypad to move the pointer to a field that you want to edit

and then press the

Enter key. The display prompts: Enter NNNN: VVVV where

NNNN is the field name and VVVV is the current value for the field. Enter a new value

for the field and press the

Enter key to complete the entry. NOTE see the Configure

Parameters section of this manual for enabling and disabling the ability to edit tables and

registers.

Print ID

The display prompts “Enter Nnnn ID:” where Nnnn is the data table name. Enter an ID

number then press the

Enter key. The information data for that ID record is sent to the

port that is configured as the printer port. All reports are in primary units.

Print ID Table Report & Reset Total, Subtotal & Count

This function is used to print all of the ID records in a table and the option to reset the

totals and counts for each ID within the table. All reports are in primary units.
The display prompts “Print Table ID n Report:” (where n is the data table number 1-6)

“Clear Totals (reg1) : N “

“Clear Subtot (reg2) : N “

“Clear Count (reg3) : N “

“Continue”

Press the

Enter key to keep the data and move to the next selection or key in a Y and

Enter to clear the data for the weight totals, weight subtotals or the count for each ID

within the table. When “Continue” is highlighted press the

Enter key to start printing the

table report. The report is printed to the port that is configured as the printer port.
