2.12.7

After Tire and Wheel Service

1. Check air pressure. Maintain proper air pressure at

all times.

• 13.00-24, 12 ply - 70 psi (483 kPa)

• 15.50-25, 12 ply - 65 psi (448 kPa)

2. Check wheel nut torque. Torque the wheel nuts to

430-470 lb-ft (583-637 Nm).

After Engine Service

Consult the qualified service agent (manufacturer’s
representative and/or service manual) for proper
procedures before engine startup.

2.12.9

After Boom Service

1. Check wear pads.

2. Check chain tension adjustment.

3. Apply grease at all lubrication points (grease fittings).

Note: Refer to the appropriate Owners/Operators
manual for the grease fitting locations.

4. Check for proper operation by operating all boom

functions through their full range of motion several
times.

After Axle Service

1. Check fluid levels in the axle and wheel ends.

2. Check torque on drive shaft flange yoke retaining

bolts. Torque these M12 bolts to 156 lb-ft (212 Nm).

3. Check the torque on the wheel nuts. Torque to

430-470 lb-ft (583-637 Nm).

4. Check toe-in if required.

5. Apply grease at all lubrication points (grease fittings).

Note: Refer to the appropriate Owners/Operators
manual for the grease fitting locations.

6. Refer to the axle manufacturer’s maintenance

manual for further information.
